This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA-Pacific Hawaii (Ford Island).
Duties
Provisioning manager, customer advocate and senior consultant for DISA, USINDOPACOM, DoD and Pacific agencies. Provisions SATCOM, SONET, MPLS, DWDM, OTS, advanced networking services, communications systems performance and emerging technologies.
Interpret provisioning policy, directs telecommunications requirement implementation, deploying DISA, DoD Services and supported agencies requirements. Provisioning Manager validates customer requirements, DISA Pacific, DITCO, and HQ DISA congruency.
Provides technical/functional training in provisioning policies and procedures. Advises customers on procedures/practices of provisioning utilizing DISA provisioning procedures. Includes TR development, TSR preparation and TSO technical resolution.
Collaborates with high-ranking military, civilian/federal agencies, contractors, and foreign government representatives. Informed on evolving requirements, services, technology, industry service offerings and lead-times to meet customer requirements.
Uses provisioning expertise/oversight authority in tracking, processing, order entry development and service activation. Demonstrates advanced skills resolving difficult and complex circuit/systems requirements presented for technical solutions.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as experience assessing customer requirements, technical solutions, order processing, funding resourcing or assessment of lease contracts available to obtain required telecommunications services, equipment, or systems.

Education
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
