This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA Pacific (PC43)
Duties
Incumbent functions as the Provisioning Manager responsible as proactive Customer Advocate and Senior Provisioning Consultant for all DISA, USINDOPACOM and other supported DoD components and Agencies in the Pacific.
Interprets policy, guides provisioning processes, directs the implementation requirement and coordinates all actions needed for the satisfactory realization of DISA, DoD Services and supported Agencies.
Provides technical and functional training in provisioning policies and procedures and advises customers on standard procedures and practices.
Customer Advocate, establishes and maintains contacts necessary to keep abreast of evolving requirements for services and changes in industry services offerings, lead-times, technology, etc. to facilitate Customer interests.
Provides provisioning functional expertise and oversight authority to track and assure timely processing of all phases of developing through order entry and service activation.
Requirements

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Assessing customer requirements, technical solutions, order processing, funding resourcing or assessment of lease contracts available to obtain required telecommunications services, equipment, or systems.
