About the Position: This position will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist for the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command. This position may be filled as a term appointment please see the additional information section for further guidance.
Duties
Apply legislative principles to appropriately respond to foreign government requests for materiel and services.
Ensure Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) are processed and completed.
Serve as a Country Program Manager for assigned foreign country, programs, and/or organizations for the purchase, transfer and/or lease of defense articles, training, and services.
Receive and coordinates foreign country representatives official site visits requirements.
Requirements
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- The position requires DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification. The incumbent must complete certification-related training requirements in the SC Area of Concentration (AoC) within the timeframe associated with the position’s SCW certification level.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) up to 25% may be required.

One year of specialized experience which includes providing assistance to the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case management team for purchases, transfers, or leases of equipment for foreign countries; monitoring billing and pricing actions for timely correction; conducting audits for country case closures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.
