About the Position: Direct, develop, and function as part of an Army Materiel Command, engaged in the development of Army Enterprise Business Systems (EBS).
Duties
Review, analyze, and evaluate logistics systems to determine their overall effectiveness in achieving full logistics combat service support to the warfighter that ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, agreements and policies.
Participate in the design, development, testing and evaluation of assigned proof of principle prototypes, operational prototypes and other phases of automated information systems databases and business systems.
Maintain continuous review over development of the enterprise, identify problems, and coordinate cost-effective alternative policies and programs.
Re-integrated and properly execute critical actions, timely, to provide a cohesive approach to logistics system requirements.
Participate on special task forces/projects at the DoD and/or component level formed to review, study, and analyze existing and future logistics management support policies and procedures.
Monitor the development and progress of numerous logistical system efforts and identifying cause and impact of delays to other associated logistical systems.
Integrate short term logistics initiatives with long term acquisition and other enterprise initiatives to aid in development and deployment of standardized Army automated information systems.
Requirements

- Acquisition certification, Life Cycle Logistics, Advanced, within 4 years of job entry.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Applying regulations and practices pertaining to programs and budgets for Logistics functions; Designing and conducting comprehensive studies of logistical issues; AND Conducting studies to identify and propose solutions to logistics problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
