About the position: This position will be assigned to the Community Center at Sheppard AFB, TX.
Subject may work uncommon work schedule, including weekends.
Duties
Operates a variety of equipment in assigned area, to include computerized engravers, mat cutters, choppers, and hand power tools. completes required paperwork at the end of month and submits entire package to supervisor. Assists customers in placing special orders. Maintains security of all merchandise, equipment and funds assigned. Provides customer service, answers telephone/emails and assists customers with stock and custom order projects common in an engraving retail store. Responsible to develop computer generated artwork utilizing multiple graphic software platforms. Must order merchandise from approved vendors to fulfill stock and special orders, track inventory, maintain purchase receipts, and complete monthly inventories IAW facility guidance. Must maintain subsidiary financial accounts to ensure proper accounting of all special orders are recorded in the proper period. Must actively seek to meet sales goals established by facility manager. Works under the supervision of the Commons Manager. Maintains clean, neat, and safe work area. Performs other related duties and assists facility supervisor as requested.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Qualifying Experience:
Preferred to have experience with some or all of the following: engraving, mat cutting, graphics software (Corel preferred). Must be able to read, write, spell in English. Basic math measurements. Must have a clear speaking voice and be able to deal with the public. May work uncommon work schedule, including weekends. Requires continuous standing, walking, and stooping. Subject to metal and wood splinters, adhesives, paint fumes, minor cuts, burns and bruises. Must be physically able to lift and carry items up to and including 50 pounds. Conditions of Employment: Incumbent must satisfactorily complete a favorable Tier Level 1 background investigation. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
