This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13.
Duties
Executes the demand planning program for a complex portfolio of weapons systems and/or component piece parts.
Supports the development and implementation of outcome-based demand support strategies that optimize supply chain management principles to enhance system readiness and life cycle cost affordability.
Supports the planning, development, implementation, and management of effective and affordable product support strategies for demands throughout the life cycle for weapons, materiel, or information systems.
Executes the demand planning module and runs demand planning macros.
Supports the weapon system manager in the development and documentation of the demands for the supply support strategy in accordance with policy and regulatory guidance.
Addresses a variety of unusual demand planning and inventory problems, questions, or conditions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One-year probationary period may be required.
- Secret Security clearance required.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Functional Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
- This position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02).
Specialized experience: 1) Analyzing supply chain, demand planning, supply planning, or sourcing data. 2) Utilizing Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to support weapon system programs. 3) Collaborating with team to meet mission objectives.
Education
