You will serve as a NUCLEAR REGIONAL MAINTENANCE MANAGER in the Detachment Guam, Nuclear Production Department, Nuclear Regional Maintenance Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will serve as director of nuclear work and facilities in Guam responsible for the execution of submarine nuclear Intermediate Level (I-Level) maintenance, Continuous Maintenance Availabilities (CMAV’s), and/or projects.
You will be accountable and responsible to the PHNSYIMF Nuclear Production Manager (300N) for all nuclear work, facilities, and resources assigned to the Nuclear Regional Maintenance Department (NRMD).
You will participate in and conduct long-range, intermediate, and emergent planning for the department's overall goals. Determine availability of manpower resources, facilities requirements, and other support functions.
You will oversee the Administrative Support, Ship/Sub maintenance and repair production support to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications, proper funding appropriation, and procurement of materials and equipment.
You will provide direct supervision to Assistant Project Superintendents (Nuclear), Nuclear Director, Military personnel, Nuclear Production Project Managers, Nuclear General Foreman and Military personnel through subordinate supervisors.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.

- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Directing and overseeing the planning, scheduling and execution of nuclear production work applicable to naval ship availability.
Planning, scheduling and execution of nuclear production work in the overhaul, repair, modification and conversion of naval nuclear ships.
Supervising and managing production workers and project management teams.
Applying technical specifications and work practices associated with the overhaul, repair, modification of naval nuclear ships.
Experience with technical specifications and work practices associated with the overhaul, repair, modification of naval nuclear ships.
