You will serve as a WORK PACKAGING COORDINATOR in the Detachment Guam, Engineering and Planning, Work Packaging Division of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will be responsible for packaging, assembling, releasing and certifying Task Group Instructions (TGls) and/or other Technical Work Documents (TWDs), including all Deficiency Forms (DFs) such as Deficiency Logs (DLs) and Deficiency Reports (DRs).
You will analyze basic outline of project requirements, independently plan work, assess time requirements to meet project schedules and budget and serve as liaison between Engineer/Engineering Technician and Production Project Manager.
You will Manage and monitor the progress of work and assists project manager in eliminating backlogs by resequencing the issuance of a task package to minimize the effect of manpower imbalance and material shortage.
You will Serves as technical expert and liaison for work packages pertaining to ship maintenance, repair and overhaul.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
- You will be required to sign the Statement of Understanding for Overseas Employment acknowledging receipt and understanding of the statement of living and working conditions for this location.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with shipyard trade work practices and knowledge of Technical Work Documents (TWD) certification and manuals for naval ship maintenance, overhaul and repair projects.
Experience with naval ship repair drawings, blue prints or schematics.
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs, technical practices to input and retrieve report on material status for assigned projects.
