The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Supervisory Security Specialist and administer a level SCI program for Air Force District of Washington and provide management, oversight, technical expertise and direct support for the HQ AFDW and designated AF customers, and other designated customers located within the Pentagon and other locations.

Duties
- Administers MAJCOM level SCI Information Security Program to ensure MAJCOM and installation level compliance with related AF, Department of Defense, and Intelligence Community guidance.
- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- Oversees MAJCOM SCI Physical Security program for the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and other designated locations.
- Directs MAJCOM level SCI Personnel Security program for HQ AFDW, designated DAF customers and other designated customers.
- Manage MAJCOM level SCI Industrial Security program for HQ AFDW, designated DAF customers and other designated customers.

Qualifications
This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Supervision and Management" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and management Positions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles and practices in the management of multi-disciplinary sensitive compartmented information, including in depth knowledge of current information systems, data bases, operating systems, and applications, and skill in applying this knowledge to difficult and complex work assignments. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of AF, Department of Defense, and Intelligence Community guidance, directives, policies, and regulations pertaining to unique multi-disciplinary sensitive compartmented information requirements associated with personnel, physical, industrial, education & training, and information security.
2. Knowledge of current and emerging multi-disciplinary sensitive compartmented information, and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) programs.
3. In-depth knowledge of multi-disciplinary sensitive compartmented information field that includes personnel, physical, industrial, education & training, and information security.
4. Ability to interpret, analyze, and evaluate multi-disciplinary sensitive compartmented information programs and their effect on the operating environment and determine security vulnerabilities.
5. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
6. Ability to manage a small staff and carry out all phases of personnel management responsibilities; ability to perform independent assessments based on incomplete data for all forms of multi-disciplinary sensitive compartmented information programs.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:
Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
Key: The duties of this position meets all requirements as a category 4 designation, and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the parent Federal Agency or office to function effectively. This position must be removed from the Ready Reserve and CAN NOT become a member of the Ready Reserve. (IAW: DoDD 1200.7, "Screening the Ready Reserve,")
Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC), and Security Program Integration Professional Certification conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position in accordance with DOD 3305.13-M, DoD Security Accreditation and Certification. The listed certification requirements may not be deleted or modified without the written approval of the AF Security Functional Authority (SAF/AA) or their delegated security career field representative.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
