Primary Purpose: Provide weapons systems protection through expertise and activities in cyber resiliency program protection, vital to national defense. Serve as Senior DAF Technical Expert to Program Management Offices and DAF organizations for Enterprise Security and cyber domain issues relating to cyber resiliency efforts.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Telework may be authorized.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
  • Locations are not negotiable. The actual duty locations available may be located on the Air Force Civilian Service website.
  • This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random drug testing for drug use.
  • Work may require travel away from the normal duty station on military and commercial aircraft.
  • This position is a designated National Security Position.

  • DoD Security Fundamentals Professional Certification and Security Program Integration Professional Certification conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position.

Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Standard for Administrative and Management Positions. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): 1. Mastery of a wide range of advanced concepts, principles, criteria, requirements, technology, and practices involved in Enterprise Security and Program Protection. 2. In-depth knowledge of security concepts, principles, and practices in the areas of: Special Access Program, Information Security, Counter-Insider Threat, Anti-Tamper, and Cybersecurity concepts. Proficiency in Information Technology administration, programs, procedures, and practices to analyze and resolve issues and plan and implement security and IT programs in these areas. 3. Mastery of security program interrelationships to coordinate the objectives and plans of two or more specialized programs to support and promote information sharing and strategies. 4. Skill to interpret a variety of security program laws, directives, regulations, and guidance to assist subordinate organizations in establishing and operating internal security programs. 5. Skill in the use of analytical principles, practices, and techniques to review, evaluate, and apply several alternatives according to the security requirements for highly specific situations, availability of materials, relationships with other protective programs, and cost/benefit considerations. 6. Ability to communicate highly complex and ambiguous topics orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately. 7. Ability to plan, organize, and manage at a strategic level.
