This position is located in Cheynne, WY.
We expect to fill 2 vacancies at this time; however, additional positions may be filled from this announcement if they become available.
Duties
Creating, maintaining and locating employment files and records. Preparing and tracking routine HR forms. Reviewing and correcting HR forms and documents.
Gathering information and documents from HR systems. Entering human resources (HR) data and query/report requests. Processing a wide variety of personnel actions.
Researching and compiling information on routine pay change actions or questions.
Assisting new employees with onboarding forms and processes.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.

- You cannot hold an active real estate license: nor can you have an interest or hold stocks in firms with interest in Federal Lands.

To qualify for GS-05, you must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 level that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity as indicated by the following examples:
Experience working in an office environment and performing administrative duties such as electronic filing, answering phone calls, and replying to e-mail correspondence timely.
Serving as a point of contact for new hires during the prescreening and onboarding process.
Entering information into an automated system or database to including researching and resolve errors or discrepancies in personnel records.
Experience applying standard human resource management guidelines to utilize personnel software programs to extract, revise, or sort information from files, records, or databases;
Ability independently track workload and to work in a team setting to complete routine tasks and/or special projects.

Education: 4 years above high school.

Combination of Education and Experience: You may meet qualifications requirement for this position with an equivalent combination of specialized experience and appropriate undergraduate education. Graduate level education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Physical Demands: The work is sedentary. Some work may require periods of standing at a counter. The incumbent frequently carries light items such as employee files or pamphlets. The work does not require any special physical effort.
Work Environment: The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions.

This position does not have any individual occupational or educational requirements.
