About the Position: The position is located at the United States Army Installation Command US Army Garrison Director Family & Morale, Welfare & Recreation Army Community Service Division, Ft. Moore Georgia 31905.

Duties

Implementing a program in coordination with installation EFMP components for active-duty sponsors of family members who have impairments or disabilities. Ensuring relocating families with special needs children are referred to the appropriate medical care provider services Advising the Installation Commander of status and progress of the program. Developing, updating and maintaining installation EFMP education, outreach and public affairs programs, to include awareness briefings for command, unit, community organizations, individuals and families and distinguished visitors. Developing and facilitating workshops and trainings on EFMP and other topic of interest to families and commands. Establishing cooperative relationships to ensure integrated programs are delivered. Collaborating with eligible families to coordinate use of the Army services, such as Respite Care Priority Housing and TRICARE Extended Care Health Option (ECHO). Supervising ACS EFMP staff including work performed and short- and long-term priorities.

OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Social Work.
