About the Position: This position Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist (Supply Chain Analyst) in Army Materiel Command (AMC).
Duties
Proactively validates supply chain data accuracy, analyzes system and functional capability, and remediates issues to resolve data quality and compatibility issues.
Analyzes aggregated operational and statistical data and reports to determine functional trends, the efficiency of operations, and the effect on future resource requirements.
Provides analytical and technical expertise to support recurring AMC strategy meetings with senior command leaders and providing analytical support to validate supply chain segmentation logic and other strategic guidance.
Coordinates funding for AMC requirements by consolidating LCMC budgets to distribute funding and monitor budget performance. As necessary, updates and shifts budget authority to best accommodate AMC requirements in year of execution.
Develops courses of action and provides authoritative analysis to HQ AMC Functional Leads to support new or improved supply chain policies, functional strategy, processes, guidance, or improvement initiatives.
Requirements

- This position requires Data Analytics Level II certification within 24 months of entrance in the position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Performing analysis of supply chain, investigating performance trends, identifying the root cause(s) of any performance issues, and recommending solutions to improve supply chain performance. 2) Maintaining supply chain process performance measures across various supply chain functions and recommending changes to performance measures when necessary. 3) Developing supply chain planning and execution guidance. 4) Determining necessary funding for supply requirements and monitoring budget allocation and execution. 5) Ensuring proactive validation and analysis of demand planning, supply planning or sourcing data, analyzes system and functional capability, and remediating issues to resolve data quality. 6) Briefing senior leadership or leading projects related to supply chain management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
