You will serve as a DEPUTY OFFICER IN CHARGE JUNIOR OFFICER TRAINING COURSE in the BTC/N3 of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE CTR CORONADO.
Duties
You will ensure that all safety and risk mitigation measures are in place to ensure all high-risk training objectives are met with minimal risk to trainees.
You will find ways to improve the quality of the work as directed, promote team building, and improve business practices.
You will identify developmental and training requirements for all Active Duty and civilian instructors by conducting or arranging for the requisite development and training.
You will enforce compliance of all applicable training instructions, policies, and guidance.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Monitoring, coordinating and/or assisting with current and future training, curriculum, mentorship, and overseeing management of the U.S. Special Operations Professional Military Education (PME) programs.
