About the Position: This position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-14, step 10 base salary, or if the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-14, step 10 level the incumbent's salary will be put on a salary control point at the incumbent's existing salary.

Duties

Coordinating with foreign liaison officers and other representatives of foreign governments as required. Provides continuing staff and technical management, coordination, and monitoring of security assistance (SA) program accomplishments. Identifies major issues and crucial aspects which may impede or preclude program accomplishment and develops effective solutions. Prepares, coordinates, and presents the PM’s position on external conflicts at higher levels. Coordinates required changes with other government agencies/contractors as required to ensure continuity of direction and balancing of resources and objectives.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Temporary duty travel (TDY) up to 30% of the time may be required.
  • This is a Term NTE 2 years position. May be made permanent.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
