You will serve as a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the OFFICE OF THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF THE NAVY (FM&C) of ASN.
Duties
You will serve as Records Administrator and establish files and a system for maintaining and storing official records in accordance with program guidelines.
You will provide timely customer service in an effort to meet customer needs and address customer concerns as they arise.
You will research and adjust official travel documents according to regulations.
You will be responsible for the Department of Navy (DON) Financial Management Career Program.
You will serve as liaison for cybersecurity, personnel and physical security, Information Systems security, Operations Security, and contractor security management.
You will develop guidelines, procedures, and other materials for use by operating officials.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Developing new or modified work methods (e.g., organizational structure, records and files management processes, administering program services and guidelines);
Presenting and defending programs and analyses of policies and procedures to senior level managers and supervisors; and
Recommending the utilization of organizational resources to accomplish program objectives under conditions of time, pressure, and uncertainty.
GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations;
Planning and coordinating admin services including travel, records management, facilities and security matters; and
Applying regulations, policies, and precedents that affect program and related administrative support issues (e.g., people, money, or equipment).

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
