You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the CORPORATE BUSINESS & ANALYSIS GROUP/INFRASTRUCTURE BUSINESS OPERATIONS DEPT/FACILITIES & SPACE MGMT DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will collect space assignment requests and information from across the command, and will direct the Space Management Team Lead in processing all formal space requests in a timely manner. You will assist other team members with the development and/or improvement of facility-related internal processes (e.g. space management, etc.) and external processes (e.g. PRB, etc.). You will mentor and provide coaching (guidance) to Branch employees, and work with employees on personal career development objectives and plans. You will be responsible for professional development and mentoring, day-to-day tasking and coordination of activities. You will provide administrative responsibilities such as; leave approval, travel and voucher approval, timecard certification. You will provide NAWCWD oversight of facility service contracts to include preventive maintenance, BOSC recurring and FedMall services, to include expensing, budgets, and performance.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (NM-03=GS-09-12) or grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following: 1)Planning, coordinating, scheduling, and execution to facilitate complete and useable spaces for the workforce; 2) utilizing space management tools & databases; 3) developing and/or improving of facility-related internal processes (e.g. space management, etc.);4) processing all formal space requests in a timely manner;5) Leading and mentoring junior staff ; 6) approving leave/certifying timecards; 7) identifying and analyzing facility requirements to ensure the effective and efficient use of facility and space resources.
