About this position: This is Term NTE 13 months position and may be extended up to a maximum of six years.
When a current Army employee with personal competitive status accepts a time-limited appointment (such as term or temporary appointment), the Army employee forfeits their permanent status and becomes subject to the provisions of the term or temporary appointment.
Duties
Provides administrative support to the Accessions Information Environment (AIE) Functional Team Lead. Maintains office files, receives office callers and visitors, and maintains the supervisor's calendar.
Serves as liaison and point of contact for all personnel related issues for the Functional Team.
Controls the requisitioning, receipt, issue, transfer, replenishment, excess and adjustments pertaining to all supply transactions for the AIE Functional Team.
Assists in maintaining a continual accumulation of all types of data for use in preparation of a variety of reports.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Must be willing to take a term position and serve a one-year trail period.
- Must be willing and able to obtain and hold a government purchase card.
- TDY up to 5% may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and or/ experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) preparing office correspondences; 2) compiling reports; 3) using automation to organize and present information; AND 4) creating and maintaining office files in accordance with established regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Qualified Typist - This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
