About the Position: Performs a variety of budgetary, administrative, and statistical functions to support budget formulation and execution of Eisenhower Army Medical Center. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Assignments include new and unusual work situations which require the adaptation of guidelines. Creates and maintains the AO's budget by loading funding targets in the DTS budget module and updating as required. Coordinates with off post POC's to obtain direct fund cites for travel of MSC personnel or to send direct fund cites fortravel by other personnel, CONUS and OCONUS, in support of the MSC exercises and taskings. Computes, edits, and consolidates monthly feeder or other reports for assigned budgetary areas.

• Personnel background investigation is required.
• This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).
• This is a DOD Financial Management position. The incumbent must complete training and meet position requirements for certification at Level (1) within 2 years of appointment. Failure to obtain and maintain certification may result in adverse action.
• This position requires TDY 25 percent.

Qualifications

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing complex monthly budget transactions; compiling budgetary data from various financial forms, documents, and reports; AND maintain the execution of the Defense Travel System as it pertains to the annual operating budget. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
