About the Position: Fort Eisenhower is in Augusta, Georgia, home of the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) and future headquarters of ARMY CYBER COMMAND (ARCYBER). It is approximately 142 miles east of Atlanta, 80 miles southwest of Columbia, South Carolina and 122 miles northwest of Savannah, Georgia. Ft Eisenhower's location offers close proximity to a metropolitan area and is an easy drive from Atlanta, Savannah, the beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains.
Duties
Coordinate personnel actions with the Capability Development Integration
Directorate (CDID) staff and liaises with the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center
(CPAC) to resolve related issues and problems.
Manage the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA), personnel/position
management actions, and organizational structures.
Participate in the development of long- and short-term planning in areas
related to advisory, technical, and administrative services.
Serve as the System Administrator for the Defense Travel System (DTS) program
for CDID.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires temporary duty travel (TDY) up to 5%.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance Background Investigation.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Analyzing organizational data to improve processes; (2) Advising management on administrative procedures to ensure regulatory compliance; and (3) Recommending new processes to senior leaders to achieve organizational goals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????09).
