You will serve as a Prgoram Manager in the Strike Planning and Execution Systems Program Office (PMA-281) of PEO CM and UAV JNT.
If selected, your salary will be set in accordance with the established control points of this position which is $139,395 - $181,860.
Duties
You will lead the advanced strategic planning, budgeting, management, and coordination efforts to meet program objectives, and achieve program cost, schedule, and performance goals.
You will manage and control all work efforts for Integrated Program Team (IPT) members and work closely with stakeholders external to the IPT to ensure accurate planning and integration throughout the acquisition cycle.
You will identify and plan for personnel and functional management support required to execute the acquisition strategy.
You will evaluate the impact of new resource levels such as budget cuts or increases, and updated estimates of resource requirements to take into account new or revised objectives, technical capabilities, and new acquisition strategies.
You will serve as the central point of contact within the program office for all matters concerning the assigned program and establish and maintain relationships both within the organization and with relevant external groups.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Analyzing needs and synthesizing information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning; (2) Serving as a key participant in the development of an acquisition strategy that serves as the framework for integrating functional activities essential to the acquisition effort; (3) Directing the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of requirements, fiscal adequacy and planned progress; (4) Identifying and defending resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program and integrating resource requirements and support plans to develop POM and budget inputs; and (5) Providing management direction to an Integrated Program Team and to all other related personnel regarding program status while maintaining relationships both within the organization and with relevant external groups.
