Duties

You will screen requests for assistance and direct individuals to appropriate personnel. You will schedule appointments for housing assignment and referral for individuals to apply for housing. You will process time cards and deliver/retrieve guard mail on occasion. You will store, retrieve, and print a variety of documents using a glossary of pre-recorded formats. You will transmit, receive, and acknowledge e-mail and messages. You will update and post housing waiting lists.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing clerical support, including greeting/receiving customers, answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, and preparing correspondence. Education


In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

4 years of education above high school
