You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the G-8 of U S MARINE FORCES CYBERSPACE COMMAND.

Duties

You will support the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process within DoD CIO, DoN, and USMC by reviewing budget submissions and correlating the submissions by to strategy requirements. You will will maintain liaison with each PEB Chair (HQ, Sustainment, Installations, Operational Forces, Training, Manpower) and Headquarters Marine Corps (Programs and Resources), Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC) POM Branch and CEWID. You will plan work, set priorities and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority of work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work.

Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance and obtain and maintain NSA badging for NIPR/SIPR/NSANet accounts. Failure to possess and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • A Counterintelligence Polygraph is required and a non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
  • This is a Drug Testing Designated Position (TDP). A pre-employment drug test is required, and the position is subject to random drug testing.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • The incumbent may be required to perform occasional travel (25% or less) which may involve the use of commercial and/or government aircraft.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and attend numerous conferences and meetings to accomplish mission assignments.
  • This is a Financial Management Level IIl certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
  • Must obtain and maintain a DoDI 8570.01-M certification of at least IAM-III within six months of assignment.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: providing interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution; and ensuring the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports. This position is within the Work Category SUPERVISION/MANAGEMENT at Work Level SENIOR, Series and Grade GG-0501-14.
