You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER (G-8) of U S MARINE FORCES CYBERSPACE COMMAND.
Duties
You will formulate and supervise the execution of policies and procedures pertaining to the financial management of appropriated funds for MARFORCYBER.
You will assist the MARFORCYBER Comptroller (G-8) with the management of financial systems such as the SABRS Management Analysis Retrieval System
(SMARTS)
You will be responsible for the daily internal management and control of the Standard Accounting Budgeting and Reporting System (SABRS) in support of the Comptroller and MARFORCYBER objectives.
You will assist in the rendering of decisions pertaining to funds management and funds execution.
You will direct development of MARFORCYBER financial programs consistent with higher level guidance.
You will report recommendations on effective and efficient methods for the proper operation of financial programs which allows MARFORCYBER
to operate at the major command level.
You will report financial program performance measures required for effective financial management.
You will perform as the liaison to the Defense Finance Accounting Service (DFAS) for a wide variety of fiscal and financial management duties.
Requirements

- A Counterintelligence Polygraph is required and a non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
- This is a Drug Testing Designated Position (TDP). A pre-employment drug test is required, and the position is subject to random drug testing.
- This position is not telework eligible.
- The incumbent may be required to perform occasional travel (25% or less) which may involve the use of commercial and/or government aircraft.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and attend numerous conferences and meetings to accomplish mission assignments.
Qualifications
Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: identifying and reporting financial systems problems; validating financial records for accuracy; evaluating and analyzing financial information; performing trend analysis and business process reengineering for effective and efficient use of resources for the command.
This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at Work Level SENIOR, Series and Grade GG-0501-13.

Education
At a minimum, all CES employees in the Professional Work Category require a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
