About the Position: Fort Eisenhower is in Augusta, Georgia, home of the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) and future headquarters of ARMY CYBER COMMAND (ARCYBER). It is approximately 142 miles east of Atlanta, 80 miles southwest of Columbia, South Carolina and 122 miles northwest of Savannah, Georgia. Ft Eisenhower's location offers close proximity to a metropolitan area and is an easy drive from Atlanta, Savannah, the beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains.
Duties
Develops annual plans and objectives in line with AFC - Army Futures Command and FCC Futures Concept Center guidance.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates accomplishments of overall Cyber Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate program by reviewing reports, studies, projects, and information provided by staff members, support personnel, contractors, etc.
Serves as the Operations Officer for the Cyber Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate Headquarters (C-CDID HQ), US Army Futures and Concepts Center (FCC), Army Futures Command (AFC).
Responsible for the systematic application and execution of sound management principles, to include thorough planning, coordination, execution, measurement, evaluation, and administration.
Analyzes requirements and coordinates, develops, defends, and presents data for a variety of C-CDID events.
Provides operational supervisory control and direction for the Directorate Work Force.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Single Scope Background Investigation with access to Secret Compartmented Information.
- This position is covered by the Civilian drug testing Program. Employee is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R, Condition of Employment for certain civilian positions identified as critical under the Drug Abuse Testing Program.
- This position requires temporary duty travel (TDY) up to 25%.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
