Serves as an office Program Support Assistant, independently performing diversified administrative, clerical and support functions. Acts with sufficient latitude, individual initiative, and decision-making authority to assist the manager, ensuring that the agency's procedural practices and the instructions of the manager are implemented and carried out within the assigned office.
Duties
Coordinates all administrative functions of the office. Ensures functions are accomplished in a complete and accurate manner. Ensures that administrative functions supporting technical program accomplishment are maintained and improved as required. Reviews and distributes incoming mail and processes that portion which can be handled personally.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
- Interviews: If the agency decides to interview any qualified employee on the selection list, then all on the list who are qualified must be interviewed.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the FV-E Band (FG/GS-7/8), you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-D, FG/GS-5/6. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
