The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.The Cybersecurity Services Branch, AIS-320, provides tactical execution of cybersecurity services by scanning for and evaluating vulnerabilities and risks
Duties
As the Cybersecurity Services Branch Manager in the AIT Information Security & Privacy Service (IS&P), you will report to the Division Manager of the Cybersecurity Operations Division and direct the work of subordinate employees within the Services Branch. Work usually includes routine project/program tasks based on established policies, procedures, and guidelines. You will perform managerial duties such as setting priorities, assigning tasks, monitoring and evaluating performance, coaching and developing employee capabilities, approving leave; and taking or recommending corrective/disciplinary action as appropriate. You will use assigned budget, staff, and other resources to accomplish objectives. You will manage the budget and request additional resources as needed. You will also contribute to budget planning processes and project future needs. You will apply a comprehensive knowledge of the technical aspects of the work directed, a detailed understanding of budget, human resources, and other administrative policies and procedures, and a detailed understanding of the organizational unit's objectives.
