About the Position: This position serves as a Logistics Management Specialist for the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command. The Army's Face to the World, the one-stop focal point for Army FMS, and the international partner of choice in U.S. security assistance.

Duties

Serve as the primary point of contact and command representative with complete responsibility for developing, coordinating, and managing Security Assistance (SA) programs. Prepare briefings, trip books, read-aheads, issue papers, action items, informational papers/memorandums, and other documents for leadership. Review and process Letters of Request for Pricing and Availability and Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA). Serve as a Country Program Manager (CPM) for assigned countries, programs, and organizations for the purchase, transfer and/or lease of defense articles, training, and services. Responsible for all logistical aspects (for example: receipt, review, documents, waivers, notification, taskings, processing, etc.) of Security Assistance program management.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Percentage of time to be spent Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) is 25%.
• The position requires DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification. The incumbent must complete certification-related training requirements in the SC Area of Concentration (AoC) within the timeframe associated with the position’s SCW certification level.
