Duties

This position is located under the Office of Field Operations located in Baltimore, Maryland, Boston, Massachusetts, and Woodland Park, New Jersey. Salary Range for Baltimore, Maryland - $117,962 - $153,354 Salary Range for Boston, Massachusetts - $116,820 - $151,870 Salary Range for Woodland Park, New Jersey - $121,485 - $157,934

Requirements

Qualifications

To qualify for GS-13, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12. Additional Conditions of Employment: GS-13 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties: Planning, organizing, and developing programs for and determining effective dissemination of information through the appropriate mass communications media; AND Responding to media inquiries concerning ongoing investigations, conduction press conferences, arranging interviews, resolving complaints against ATF or similar agencies in general; AND Writing, editing, content management and/or social media management experience. The Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP) provides eligible surplus and displaced competitive service employees in the Department of Justice with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
