This position is located at the United States Coast Guard (USCG), Deputy Commandant for Mission Support, within the Health, Safety and Work-Life Directorate (CG-11), Office of Health Services (CG-112), Health System Administration Division (CG-1122), Washington, DC.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, this position serves as the senior business advocate (SBA) responsible for developing and sustaining revenue cycle and informatics enterprise standards ensuring that unique business needs of the Coast Guard. The incumbent also advises the Chief Health Informatics Officer, Chief Medical Informatics Officer, and Director (CG-1K). The person also advises the Medical Administration leadership on modernization strategies and continuous improvement of healthcare business operations that utilize existing and future Health Information Technology (IT) systems capabilities.

Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-14: Applicants must possess to one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lowest grade level (GS-13) in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Examples of specialized experience includes:
Experience using budget policies, procedures, and regulations to coordinate budget development, justification, and execution activities;
Experience providing oral briefings regarding the development of program performance measures;
Experience developing life cycle cost analyses of projects or performing cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs;
Experience planning, organizing, and directing studies and recommending proposals involving substantial agency resources.
