You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (LMS) in the NAVFAC Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.
This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14. This position has a control point equivalent to the GS-13 step 10 level.
Duties
You will lead a multi-functional team responsible for Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) planning and logistics management.
You will perform data computation and analysis to manage data workload amongst several databases (i.e. ERP, MBPS, CDMD-OA, etc.) while understanding the relationships and linkages.
You will be responsible for making organization-wide decisions and establishing the plans and goals that affect the entire organization.
You will perform administrative and technical supervisory duties at least 25% of the time (guiding discussions, delegating tasks, and holding team members accountable for outcomes).
You will use data science methodologies and report results to execute improvements and action plan for corrective measures.
You will communicate both in writing and speaking in order to clearly address issues and to convey appropriate course of
action to resolve such issues.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 or NT-2 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Utilizing proficiency in Configuration Management encompassing industry standards and specifications;
2) Proficiently planning and managing projects, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality results;
3) Developing, justifying, and/or executing the configuration management budget while ensuring alignment with program plans (cost, schedule, and performance);
4) Monitoring, evaluating, and/or coordinating Configuration Management execution to ensure desired outcomes, while developing and implementing appropriate policies and procedures;
5) Ensuring integration of configuration management strategy elements into acquisition documentation, procurement specifications, contracts, and engineering documents.
