You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the PRODUCT SUPPORT DIVISION, SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

You will serve as the Team Lead in the Sensors, Weapons, and Launchers Department, Product Support Division. You will provide leadership of the Integrated Logistics Support or Logistics Element Management function and programs planning, reviewing, coordinating or evaluating logistical actions in support of new systems acquisitions or sustainment programs. You will lead the development and implementation of programmatic requirements from acquisition through phase out. You will lead overall project schedules, maintain direct and professional relationships with key customers and stakeholders, hold periodic meeting to ensure expected products and services will be delivered on time and with the highest quality. You will lead technical review of processes and products to support program, system, and project deliverables.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS 11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing or leading Integrated Product Support or Logistics Element Management program logistical actions (e.g., planning, executing, preparing, reviewing, coordinating, or evaluating) in support of new Navy acquisition or sustainment programs for surface combat or weapon systems.
