Duties
You will provide direction and oversight for Accountable Property, including but not limited to administration, evaluation, and coordination of programs on the use, procurement, transfer, destruction or other disposal of excess government assets.
You will serve as a Lead Accountable Property Officer and will oversee, conduct and update inventories, maintain accurate reports, provide/complete trainings and ensure compliance with all internal and external applicable regulations.
You will be proactive and interface with a variety of internal and external customers on a daily basis, provide quality customer support, ensure attention to detail on communications as well as on programmatic and financial documentation.
You will perform duties in various government and financial software systems, such as Navy ERP, DPAS, DLA/DRMO, DTS, GSA leasing, Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), related to budget, finance and/or asset management as needed.
You will assist in other functional roles within the Comptroller Department as applicable (GPC, POM, data calls, financial reports, budgets and audits.
You will instruct other FM analysts and technicians in analytical methods, appropriations law and financial systems in an on-the-job training setting.

- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating knowledge of financial management and accounting principles; 2) Utilizing a database and/or spreadsheet software, particularly for complex formulas and pivot tables; 3) Balancing budgets and feeder system data with non-labor systems, processes, procedures, rules, and regulations (i.e. SABRS GL and SMARTS reports); 4) Preparing data for internal and external stakeholders, while assisting with financial reports; and 5) Reviewing simplified acquisition procurements for accuracy and completeness to recommend alternatives to stakeholders.
