Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As an IT Specialist (ENTARCH), you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Performing work involving the analysis, planning, design, implementation, documentation, assessment and management of the enterprise structural framework to align IT strategy, plans, and systems with the mission, goals, structure, and processes of the organization.
Working with business owners to conduct preliminary data analysis for candidate projects and offers potential data/business alternatives or recommendations for data and business process re-engineering, as appropriate.
Promoting interoperability, exchange of information, and sharing of data and ensuring alignment of internal data management practices with DHHS and Federal government regulations and policies.
Serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or Government Task Lead (GTL) for projects which utilize contractor support for design and implementation of services or applications needed to meet mandate.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications: Must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications: In addition to meeting the above basic requirement, you must have one-year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing at least three (3)of the following:
Applying advanced Enterprise Architecture principles to provide guidance and prepare IT strategies.
Applying knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks to support a wide range of functions, organizations and/processes.
Using data analytics software to establish and develop standards, policies and guidelines to ensure appropriate application and compatibility with government wide standards.
Utilizing IT development resources and tools to develop solutions to integration/interoperability issues.
