The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC) serves as the Army's technology leader for armament systems. DEVCOM AC ensures dominance of Army capabilities by researching, developing, integrating and delivering technology-enabled armament solutions to our Warfighters. Armaments Center has a long tradition as the primary research and development center for new and existing armament systems which are in use by U.S. service members around the world.
Duties
Assists the Protocol Officer in preparing and coordinating logistical arrangements for official visits, events, meetings and ceremonies.
Prepares itineraries, composes invitations, and establishes guest lists for official social events, graduations, and ceremonies.
Applies strong interpersonal skills and teamwork to understand and address customer needs
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Three-year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties:
1) helping to coordinate high-level visits, meetings and events, including logistical arrangements 2) Experience in drafting official correspondence and briefing materials for senior leaders and officials. 3) Possess general familiarity with protocol procedures and cultural sensitivities, and international customs. 4) Have strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Education
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
