About the Position: This announcement will be used to fill an International Programs Management Specialist position with the Joint Program Executive Office for Armaments and Ammunition PM, Close Combat Systems, located in Picatinny, NJ.
Duties
Manages proactive international program plans, including identifying and prioritizing potential customers.
Provides managerial oversight of the project office international programs, including Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases and co-production.
Provides staff and technical management, coordination, and oversight for International Program accomplishments.
Ensures the development and execution of international program agreements, including rationalization, standardization, and interoperability agreements.
Provide expert guidance and oversight to Subject Matter Experts(SMEs) in all International-related areas.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Practitioner in the Acquisition Career Field Program Managment within 60 months of entrance on duty.
- Business travel required up to 30% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- This is a Critical Acquisition Position/Key Leadership Position. Incumbent must execute a 3-year tenure agreement, except as tailored by the CAE for KLPs or as identified for ACAT I PMs and DPMs.
- Incumbent must execute a tenure agreement period of 4 years.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience is defined as: 1) Providing staff and technical management, coordination, and oversight for International Program accomplishments; 2) Advising Senior Officials on matters related to international programs, including FMS, developing project agreements, evaluating foreign technologies for meeting US requirements; and 3) Applying Acquisition and International Regulations and Policies to plan and manage the contract development process. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03 or GS-13 equivalent.
