This position is in Compliance Response and Remediation (CGR), Compliance and Governance (CG), Compliance, Audit, and Risk (C), Executive Office (A), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).
The purpose of this position is to serve as the technical lead and expert subject analyst responsible for providing compliance systems planning and support for analytical work involving designing, adapting, installing, and testing compliance programs and related systems.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Serve as the Resolver CORE System technical lead and is responsible for coordinating all aspects and activities related to the development, enhancement, testing, training, maintenance, issue resolution, and quality control.
Be responsible for maximizing the business value of assigned software application by working with external contractors, vendors, and BPA Information Technology (IT) technical leads.
Be the primary point of contact for all functional enhancement to the systems requested by users and contractors and vendors.
Be responsible for quality assurance and control of internal and vendor software releases.
Establish methodology for identification, coordination, communication, documentation, and resolution of all software bugs and issues.
Determine scope of work of special requests.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-12, in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience is defined as experience in 1) serving as a technical lead responsible for compliance systems planning and support of a variety of analytical work (i.e., designing, adapting, installing, testing, etc.); 2) developing and recommending changes in standards, processes, and controls for new and existing governance, risk, and compliance business practices; 3) plan and lead cross-departmental quality assurance efforts to identify, diagnose, and resolve software and system related process issues.

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
