This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA EX/OPNS PLANS & EX DIR.
Duties
Develops risk decision packages associated with CIP/MA findings to establish strategies for managing risks and business continuity strategies.
Develops and recommends solutions, and establishes support plans, to known DoDIN and DISN CIP/MA vulnerabilities, including threat identification, assessment, and mitigations to potential mission failure.
Develops tactics, techniques, and procedures to ensure the survivability and continuation of DoDIN and DISN capabilities.
Conducts interdependency analysis with intra-agency, inter-agency, and Department of Homeland Security, as well as DIB, Financial Services, Health Affairs, Intelligence, Logistics, Personnel, Public Works, Space, and Transportation.
Ensures programs exist to coordinate information sharing, planning, collaboration, and integration across all sectors of US business and government, eliminating the potential for gaps in critical infrastructure analysis.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
- This is a Drug Tested Designated position.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in developing and maintaining technologies, capabilities, and customer requirements against projected enemy threat activity for PACE planning to ensure strategic mission survivability; managing Supply Chain Risk Management and Systems Requirements, identifying task critical assets, critical missions, and operational dependencies associated with Defense Critical Assets (DCA); identifying of single points of failure and vulnerabilities, and developing risk decision packages associated with CIP/MA findings.
