This position is in the Department of Public Programs of the National Gallery of Art’s Division of Learning and Engagement which falls under the Exhibitions, Programs, and Audience Engagement Executive Officer. The Gallery Support Specialist develops, implements, and maintains organizational systems to improve the administrative efficiency and communication across the department, including regularly updating calendars and monitoring deadlines.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the NF-0301-9. For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the NF-7 grade level in the Federal service, developing, implementing, and maintaining organizational systems to improve the administrative efficiency and communication across a department, including regularly updating calendars and monitoring deadline.

Knowledge of the systems used by the National Gallery such as Oracle, WebTA, TMS, and AE.
Analytical and evaluative ability sufficient to manage program attendance tracking and reporting, including reports on special exhibition programming, and maintains departmental files and records.
