You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the Nuclear Engineering & Planning Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will implement programs and procedures to provide nuclear material support to the shipyard productive efforts, in all facets of nuclear material management support.
You will be engaged in a wide variety of supply task related work methods and procedures, organizations, distribution of work assignments, and management controls or similar functions of management in the Nuclear Material Division Branch.
You will assist the Nuclear Material Analyst Branch head and Nuclear Material Manager in analyzing and reporting assessments of all nuclear material functions, major issues, program goals and objectives.
You will perform analysis and special projects work assignments for evaluating and developing material processes, systems, financial accounting and manpower utilization in support of naval nuclear propulsion programs being accomplished effectively.
You will prepare the Nuclear Material Division Organizational assessment and the Nuclear Material Functional Area assessment.
You will monitor Shipyard performance for quality related trends or problems in the Naval Nuclear Functional area using quality data and performance metrics.
You will perform automation studies and analyzes programs which cover extensively interrelated functions and procedures throughout PHNSY and other Navy activities to improve the efficiency of manpower and methods.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

- Work may be performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You may be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For the GS-12 Grade level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing or implementing procedures for nuclear materials management, (e.g. material processes, systems, financial accounting, manpower utilization) in support of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Programs.
For the GS-11 Grade level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band the in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector improving supply methods or procedures, (e.g. manpower utilization, management control, information and documentation systems, budget analysis) to support Nuclear Materials Management.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience for the GS-11 Grade level, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
Possession of a L.L.M. that is related to this position being filled.
