You will serve as the Level II Expeditionary Airfield (EAF), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, in the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Program Office (PMA251) in the Program Executive Office for Tactical Aircraft Programs.
Duties
You will train or arrange for training of team members in methods and techniques of team building, working in teams and accomplishment of individual and team tasks.
You will lead the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among team members in accordance with established priorities, work flow, skill level and occupational specialization.
You will ensure consistent risk identification, classification and the development of mitigations across efforts/projects.
You will review external communications to ensure consistency of message and ensure readiness for O-6/Flag level presentations and reviews.
You will be responsible for the overall management, direction, control and integration of all program efforts involving support and funding for numerous ALRE system procurement and modification efforts.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading an Integrated Program Team (IPT) in providing program management and risk management support for aircraft systems and/or subsystems; 2) Planning, directing, and evaluating acquisition, management, technical development and financial control for the program in terms of risk, performance, schedule and cost; 3) Planning for and synthesizing requirements in areas such as engineering, logistics, budget, configuration management, foreign military sales, and other functional specialties into integrated strategies to support the acquisition program; and/or 4) Acting as a liaison with others to ensure that program needs are addressed and program goals are met.
