About the Position: This position serves as a Logistics Management Specialist for the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command.
Duties
Serves as a Security Assistance (SA) Integration Specialist within the USASAC Security Assistance Fusion Center.
Provide technical advice and assistance to Security Assistance Operations Fusion Center leadership and staff related to security assistance programs.
Study and analyze issues, logistical actions, and questions emanating from the Security Assistance Enterprise to determine new approaches, new emphasis, or new and improved guidance.
Maintain a comprehensive and integrated understanding of all the information and data related to assigned geographic area of responsibility.
Provide accurate guidance, advice, and direction on all matters pertaining to planning and development of programs for assigned areas of responsibility.
Establish and maintain liaison with representatives and key personnel within the Security Assistance Enterprise that are involved in Security Assistance programs.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Percentage of time to be spent Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) is 25%.
- The incumbent must complete Security Cooperation Case Life Cycle Management, Intermediate Level training requirements within the timeframe associated with the position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves analyzing and evaluating administrative and procedural aspects of the Security Assistance/FMS programs. Reviewing letters of request for acceptance, pricing, and availability in support of country procurement plans. Analyzing Security Assistance/FMS issues and providing corrective action. Preparing briefings for higher level and foreign officials on the development and execution of assigned programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
