This position assists the Senior Counsel, Strategic Planning and Operations Group (SPOG), in developing and implementing initiatives aimed at enhancing the Legal Division's operation efficiency and effectiveness, as well as strategic planning, business continuity planning, succession planning, and knowledge management initiatives.

Duties
- Assists the Senior Counsel in the development of Legal Division strategies, goals, objectives, and initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience (1) developing a Division-wide knowledge management program; (2) forecasting, assessing, and evaluating operational and developmental training programs on the efficient operations of a division and support a strategic plan; AND (3) creating and maintaining databases to assist with the maintenance of data for qualitative and quantitative analysis.
