About the position: This position will be assigned to the 66th Force Support Squadron Marketing Department.
This is a full-time position, guaranteed a minimum of 35 hours per week, with a full benefits package.
Duties
Works under the direction of the Director of Marketing, Advertising, and Sponsorships to plan, develop, deploy, and maintain the squadron website, digital content, mobile app, social media content; assists with creation of marketing collateral, surveys, graphics, photography/videography, and campaigns. Using highly developed organizational skill, serves as primary Web and digital content administrator ensuring content is current and accurate, site is functional and operational 24/7; Updates, adds, deletes, revises content based on information provided by the Marketing Office or approved input from leadership, and facility/activity managers on daily basis. Position requires designing content, writing, and editing for digital publishing. Designs and develops multi-platform digital interactive multimedia consistent with non-digital media, site animation, GIFs, live streaming feeds, and special-effects elements. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
BS degree with major in digital marketing, marketing, communications, and design is desirable. Must have a thorough and complete understanding of Web and digital media technologies, enabling comprehensive, exacting website maintenance and operation, and knowledge of programming language. Must possess superior reading, writing and comprehension skills. Demonstrable working knowledge of fundamental marketing communication and ability to understand marketing strategies, concepts, and campaign objectives. Skilled in developing media materials and knowledge of a wide range of visual communication, illustration, graphics, media, perspective, design, layout principles, balance and contrast, and concepts for the conception, planning and precise execution of a variety of projects in very fast-paced production environment. Skilled in both PC and MAC. Must be proficient in Adobe CC Suites
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
