About the Position: This position is located at US Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Office of the Garrison Commander, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.
Duties
Responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, executing and evaluating the Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) Command Information Program.
Provides oversight for the managing editor of the installation news website JBLM News and is responsible for Command Information content on the JBLM News website as well as reviewing content on the JBLM website and all web sites associated with JBLM.
Serves as the executive editor of selected products and established objectives, areas of emphasis, editorial policy and guidelines for those products.
Manages the installation's web site and social media outlets, fact sheets, information papers, and other products as required.
Reviews analysis of social media products and adjusts content to reflect audience needs.
Provide full technical and administrative supervision to all employees under incumbent supervision.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain a Security Secret clearance.
- This position is supervisory define by the Office Personnel Management (OPM) General Schedule and requires one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties as required.
- Appointment to this position is subject to one-year probationary period.
