You will serve as a LEAD TRAINING SPECIALIST for the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering, Training Directorate of CENSEABEESFACENG.
Duties
You will develop curriculum using computer-based authoring languages and systems.
You will lead discussions to provide greater understanding of course content.
You will evaluate curriculum and instruction to identify developmental and training needs of the organization.
You will analyze instructions, policies, regulatory requirements, and other agency guidelines that govern various educational and research activities.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Researching technical training source material manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to verify accuracy of technical courses of instruction and training items; 2) Developing and updating lesson plans for a broad suite of fundamental skills, or technical occupation courses equivalent to basic undergraduate or secondary grade level; 3) Developing and updating course materials such as instructor guides, study guides, visual aids, written tests, proficiency charts, training aids, and course outlines for technical occupations; 4) Developing the curriculum of all training materials aligned with DoD training procedures, regulations and directives to formulate training policy, plans and resource requirements; and 5) Developing and using internet based learning management and development systems such as Moodle, Adobe Connect, etc..
Examples of Specialized Experience (for positions above GS-5): Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:
Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s).
Supervising or administering a training program.
Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results.
Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis.
