You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the CENTER FOR SEABEES AND FACILITIES ENGINEERING of CENSEABEESFACENG.
Duties
You will perform curriculum development functions that support traditional instructor-led training and Web-Based eLearning in the fields of civil engineering, horizontal and vertical construction, and heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
You will conduct training analysis reviews, course safety reviews and develop/conduct formal course reviews; provide internal feedback of surveys, prepare and forward questionnaires, and request feedback.
You will research training source material such as government regulations, national building codes, technical manuals, wiring and schematic diagrams, and other information to ensure the currency and accuracy of established instructional courses.
You will prepare original papers, articles, or reports in training, and technical fields based on research, interviews with experts, program officials, and observation of or participation in tests and experiments.
You will review and update Training Requirements databases; oversee testing and remediation programs and provide in-service training
sessions.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Monitoring training program to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; 2) Developing solutions to training issues; 3) Implementing training program in accordance with organization mission and objectives; and 4) Coordinating with personnel on training programs.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
or
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
