You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF TRAINING SUPPORT AGENCY DEPARTMENT of NAVAL FACILITIES INSTITUTE.
Duties
You will identify deficiencies in installation exercises to provide solutions to unique training situations.
You will analyze instructions, policies, regulatory requirements, and other agency guidelines that govern various educational and research activities.
You will design quality control measures to assess effectiveness of training program concepts or techniques
You will coordinate and direct the major tasks and activities associated with the design and application of unique automated Instructional Systems
Design (ISD) computer programs
You will coordinate with instructors and leads for uploading and maintenance of course artifacts into database (e.g., Authoring Instructional Materials
[AIM II] or a similar tool) for future reference.
You will develop curriculum using computer based authoring languages and systems.
You will analyze course content to integrate the latest advances in a designated subject
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applies the practical application of Instructional System Design (ISD) to design and develop and edit training courses or course material; 2) Utilizes a range of training methods, techniques, and tools to design and develop training program evaluations; 3) Utilizes initiative and resourcefulness in deviating from traditional methods or researching trends and patterns to develop new methods, criteria, or proposed new policies; and 4) Develops and maintains web and computer-based training using various commercial Off-The-Shelf authoring tools.
