Duties
Serves as a Security Specialist; formulates local policy on handling of classified and Controlled Unclassified material in accordance with all applicable directives from higher authority.
Serves as the installation technical expert regarding Information Security, advising all levels of management officials.
Develops and presents information security briefings and training relative to new employees.
Identifies intelligence and information security gaps, and participates in the development of operational programs.
Coordinates with various employees and customers to enroll applicants into the Trusted Agent Sponsorship System to obtain Common Access Cards (CACs) and Volunteer Access Cards (VOLACs).

Facilitates the review of initial background checks and interim clearance decisions for personnel working with the Organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
