The incumbent serves as the Engineering Technician (Drafting Coordinator) for the Implementation Support Center.
Duties
Performs highly specialized technical work associated with analyzing, designing, developing, installing, repairing, fabricating, maintaining, modifying, or evaluating the most complex systems for which the FAA is responsible. Understands how assigned systems, components, and disciplines are integrated with other systems, components, and disciplines. Serves as an independent contributor and manages all drafting request packages utilizing the FAA’s Drafting Tracker Software. Applies broad experience with established drafting software MicroStation.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- A recent SF-50 is required (See Required Documents for requirements)
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level FV-G (FG/GS-10/11). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience: Experience with established drafting software (i.e. MicroStation).
